About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop scalable backend services, contribute to database modernization and migration initiatives, and help solve complex technical problems across our platform. We’re better together. This role is fully on-site. This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Maine or Washington.

What you'll bring

• 7+ years of professional software-engineering experience.
• Strong experience developing production backend systems in Go or another modern programming language.
• Ability and willingness to become productive in Go.
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases, including database design, optimization, and data-migration techniques.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience or comparable experience with another enterprise relational database.
• Experience with query optimization, indexing, data modeling, partitioning, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Experience operating applications or databases in a cloud environment.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools while independently validating generated output.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• A passion for technology, continuous learning, and solving complex engineering problems.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and/or military experience.
