About the role

This role is responsible for developing and implementing supplier quality improvement and monitoring processes to enhance supplier performance, product quality, and business qualifications with Crane.

What you'll bring

• 0-8 years   of   related experience
• Previous experience working in regulated environment with a preference of FAA CFR 14 part 21 and part 145
• Knowledge:   Broad knowledge of the marketplace and manufacturing technologies
• In depth knowledge of supplier qualification processes and supplier performance metrics
• Knowledge of the latest quality science tools including, FMEA, GR&R, Control plans, Capability study and reduction of variations
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Exposure to   lean concepts (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Leadership, 5S, etc)
• Knows and applies advanced concepts, practices and procedures of assigned product or program
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Skills/Abilities:   Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated   analytical, problem solving/decision making skills
• ability to make timely,   effective, fact based decisions
