About the role

Redwood Credit Union is looking for an SBA/Commercial Credit Analyst I, who will prepare SBA and commercial loan applications in accordance with the Credit Union’s underwriting guidelines and influence the quality of credit through guideline adherence.

What you'll bring

• Must possess working knowledge of loan requirements for SBA and commercial lending with a demonstrated ability to perform research activities and loan portfolio analyses.
• Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Current knowledge of laws, rules and regulations pertaining to business lending and compliance.
• Knowledge of all aspects of financial institution business services including lending methods, practices, and services.
• Strong analytical skills to make sound credit decisions with some assistance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under deadlines and stress.
• Knowledge of credit and interest rate economics.
• Knowledge of asset, liabilities, credit dynamics in a business services lending environment.
• Ability to work independently with some supervision.
• Ability to problem solve using critical thinking to identify and resolve issues.
