About the role
As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping the company achieve its financial objectives by developing and analyzing financial models and budgets. You will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to provide financial insights, reports, recommendations, and solutions to complex business problems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. This role will be based in our office located at 3000 Marcus Avenue, Suite 3E03, Lake Success, NY 11042.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to independently review, validate, and reconcile calculations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically while maintaining a focus on execution and results.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
