About the role
As VA Pharmacy Technician, you will provide excellent care to VA beneficiaries and dependents.
What you'll bring
- * must be able to work 40 hours per week.
- You must have background experience working in hospital pharmacies for inpatient assignment or retail pharmacies for outpatient assignment.
- Experience shall include a basic knowledge of pharmaceutical nomenclature
- characteristics, strengths, and dosage forms of pharmaceuticals
- pharmaceutical systems of weights and measures
- and the variety of procedures and techniques involved in the care, storage, repackaging, bulk compounding, and distribution of pharmaceuticals.
- You are required to have certification by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and shall be proficient in spoken and written English.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must have proof of US citizenship
- 1 year of inpatient background is preferred as a minimum!
