About the role
The Community Outreach Specialist is responsible for driving referral growth and building strategic relationships for AbriCare’s personal home care services across western St. Louis and surrounding Missouri communities. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in personal home care or home health who understands how families access in-home support. You’ll serve as the face of AbriCare in the field, developing referral partnerships, educating the community on in-home care services, and consistently generating new client opportunities. This is a relationship-driven, field-based role focused on expanding access to personal care services and growing our presence in the market. Candidates must have prior experience in personal home care, home health, who understand how non-medical in-home care services are delivered and accessed. This role focuses on developing referral relationships, educating partners and families, and driving consistent growth through community-based outreach across St. Louis and surrounding Missouri communities. What you'll bring
- Candidates must have prior experience in personal home care, home health, who understand how non-medical in-home care services are delivered and accessed.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in community outreach, marketing, healthcare liaison work, or related role.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated experience building relationships in community or healthcare settings.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with comfort speaking to groups and individuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to track activities in CRM or similar systems.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally across St.
- Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas.
- 2+ years of experience in outreach, healthcare, or community development.
- Experience working with older adults, people with disabilities, or Medicaid programs.
- Familiarity with the Missouri aging and home care ecosystem, including AAAs, social service agencies, and community organizations.
- Previous work with or for a home care, healthcare, or nonprofit organization.
