About the role

Avalanche Studios Group is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Data and Insights team. This role will be responsible for creating, designing and maintaining our data architecture. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering, data modelling, data visualization, event design and best practices in those areas. This is a key role in developing our data lake by bridging the gap between our data engineer and our data scientists as well as ensuring that our data is timely, easy to work with and trusted across the company.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• with 5+ years experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Architect, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in designing efficient and scalable data models with large data sets across multiple teams.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g. Apache Airflow, Talend, DBT...
• and experience with “Infrastructure as Code” process (e.g. Terraform).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• coupled with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
