About the role
GLP Japan is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Income Fund Management team. This role supports the management of private real estate funds through financial analysis, portfolio monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders across Investments, Asset Management, Finance, Legal, and other business functions to support fund performance and strategic decision-making. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with financial data, building analytical models, and contributing to the management of institutional real estate investment vehicles.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of experience in real estate, asset management, finance, banking, investment management, consulting, or related fields
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis
- Ability to work effectively with large datasets and complex financial information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Native-level or fluent Japanese language skills (required)
- Ability to read and write business documents and email communications in English
- Strong analytical mindset
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn
