About the role
The AI & Data Division in charge is responsible for supporting the development of AI by analyzing data from Rakuten's various services and providing solutions to improve services. It is also a global organization with employees located not only in Japan but also abroad. This is an environment where you can develop a multifaceted perspective and viewpoint as an HR professional, as the environment is extremely diverse in terms of nationality, number of offices in Japan and overseas, age, and employment status. You will be able to gain experience in large-scale HR operations. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional to gain experience in a large-scale company and promote improvement in business measures. You will be assigned to the Group Human Resources Department (GHRD) and in charge of AI & Data Division’s HRBP for this position. GHRD consists of various HR functions such as payroll, training, recruiting and HRBP. This is a great opportunity to work in an environment where you will be able to communicate well with other sections through a variety of PJTs and where there are plenty of long-term career paths.
What you'll bring
- 3+ years of experience in HR
- experience of communication in English environment (Foreign study, business use, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of labor law.
- Experience as HRBP/HR generalist.
- Experience of using English in the workplace.
- Able to work steadily on complex tasks close to the field.
- Able to act with a sense of speed and flexibility in the face of change.
- Strong interest in cutting edge technology.
