About the role

This role ensures that Additive Manufacturing operations run efficiently, parts consistently meet engineering , quality, and customer specifications, while meeting production targets safely and efficiently . While this position will focus on operating a fast wire Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM), the technician will also train on other post processing machines. The Additive Manufacturing Technician plays a vital role in the daily execution of additive manufacturing (AM) operations. The AM Technician is expected to exemplify our core values and demonstrate operational excellence. This position requires a detail-oriented individual w ith good mechanical aptitude, good hand-eye coordination with an understand ing of production workflows, can adapt to shifting priorities, and is eager to learn and have competency with AM processes. The technician is responsible for maintaining exceptional quality and efficiency throughout production, while working collaboratively with leads, supervisors, and management to meet operational goals and continuously improve processes.

• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
• Ability to demonstrate the use of MaintainX.
• Basic understanding of multimeter & electric power.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic air systems.
• Experience operating a Fast Wire EDM in an additive manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to support and mentor peers.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
