About the role
Prometric, the recognized global leader in technology-enabled testing and assessment services, seeks experienced Registered Nurses with experience in long-term care to administer the Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Exam. This is an exciting opportunity for RNs seeking to leverage their skills outside of the hospital setting by evaluating candidates pursuing their CNA certification. This role will also be responsible for ensuring the highest quality test experience for Prometric’s clients consistent with the Vision, Mission, Values, Policy & Procedures. This position will be responsible for administering up to 1-2 test days a week (an average of 8 hours/ test day) at various locations within a 30-mile radius of the employee’s zip code. Examinations are performed mainly Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate can work 1 to 2 days a week OR 2 to 4 days a month.
What you'll bring
- Registered Nurses with active and unrestricted licenses in the state of operation
- One (1) year of experience in long-term care or experience caring for the chronically ill of any age
- The ideal candidate may possess staff development and/or training experience
- Intermediate to Advanced technical skills and solid familiarity with computer programs and applications (including but not limited to MS Office, Outlook, and Explorer web browsing)
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Must have a valid Drivers License and vehicle to travel to test events
- Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
- Must be proactive, flexible, amicable, and able to solve problems independently.
- Ability to travel 30 miles or more one way from zip code
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time while administering the exam and evaluating candidates (up to as much as 8 hours per event)
