About the role
The Caregiver (CNA/CHHA) will report to Health & Wellness Director. The Caregiver is a Part-Time, non-exempt, hourly position. Assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident’s care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities.
What you'll bring
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year resident care experience required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid
- Able to speak, read and write in English
- Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population
- Physical Abilities
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
- Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents.
- The associate must use proper body mechanics.
- preferred dementia experience
