About the role
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support cost management services on a large-scale mission-critical construction program. This role will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, providing estimating, procurement, cost control, change management, and commercial oversight services from preconstruction through project completion in a fast-paced construction environment.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related construction field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience working in a cost management role in the construction industry.
- Experience supporting cost management on large, complex commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or technology-related construction projects.
- RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable.
- Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
- Experience with estimating, cost planning, change management, and project controls throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
