About the role

The Crane Operator is responsible for operating rough terrain (RT) swing cab mobile cranes with telescoping and lattice booms to load, unload, move and position heavy material and equipment at various work sites and conditions. This position will need experience working as a Crane Operator and needs to be knowledgeable in reading load charts, preparing pick plans and have an active NCCCO/NCCER Telescopic Boom Cranes—Swing Cab (TLL) Certification, and Tower Crane Certificate (TWC)

What you'll bring

• This position will need experience working as a Crane Operator and needs to be knowledgeable in reading load charts, preparing pick plans and have an active NCCCO/NCCER Telescopic Boom Cranes—Swing Cab (TLL) Certification, and Tower Crane Certificate (TWC)
• Minimum 5 years of verified experience as a crane operator required.
• Ability to operate a Grove or Tadano RT mobile crane with minimum capacity 70-tons.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction required or have the ability to obtain.
• Ability to work in a hot non-climate control environment.
• Ability to utilize SAM Construction application on a smart phone, tablet or laptop.
• Must be experienced and able to read, understand and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, estimating, and project schedules for constructability and conflict reviews specific to Multifamily construction.
• Strong working knowledge of the local multifamily construction industry and subcontractors.
• Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needs.
• Understanding building permit, approval and inspection processes.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent communication and partnering skills to work effectively with subcontractors, consultants, internal staff, and regulatory agencies.
