About the role

The Head Events Electrician is responsible for; implementing show specific requests specific to Pechanga Arena San Diego, including but not limited to 120–480-volt power distribution, lighting systems, energy conservation, cable management, assisting both front and back of house with power supply and load management. This is an onsite position that requires in-person collaboration with multiple departments and coverage of events from start to finish.

• Possess understanding of the operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services, and technical requirements for the types of events anticipated at the facility.
• Demonstrate proper knowledge of all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Understand and work from general instructions, specifications, blueprints, sketches, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Demonstrate ability to carry out tasks in a reliable, productive, and expedient manner and be able to adhere to strict deadlines.
• Demonstrate knowledge of practices and procedures related to event set-up and conversions, typical methods and techniques for cleaning and maintaining the facility and proper use and care of hand power tools.
• Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
• Follow all policies/procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules, regulations, and emergency procedures established at the facility.
• Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
• High School diploma or GED
• experience in maintenance and repair of building electrical systems; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
