About the role

ProSidian Seeks a Survey Data Analyst (Contract Contingent) in Charlotte, NC / Washington, DC / Remote to support an engagement for agency of the United States government responsible for consumer protection in the financial sector. The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to understand and improve consumer financial decision-making skills by researching consumer financial behavior, knowledge, attitudes, perceptions, and experiences, developing innovative approaches to help consumers make better-informed financial decisions, and analyze and study the effectiveness of financial education approaches. Survey Data Analyst Candidates shall work to support requirements for PR0001 Program Support and conduct in-depth research on consumer financial behavior, knowledge, attitudes, and experiences in order to better understand how to improve consumer financial education. The Survey Data Analyst will collect and analyze data, develop and design research plans to improve data collection, report on findings and analysis, and present studies to other members of the Research Team.

  • The Survey Data Analyst shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email
  • and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position.
  • Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.
  • The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:  Master’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a relevant field with at least 3 years of experience with demonstrated understanding of data mining, modeling, statistical analysis, and survey data collection.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 3 years of experience providing survey research, statistical analysis, survey data collection, programming, decision processes, and questionnaire design.
  • Experience in management of custom survey projects.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and written reports summarizing data collected.
