KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks a passionate physical education teacher for our elementary grade levels. The P.E./ Health teacher will lead daily P.E. instruction across multiple grade levels. P.E. instruction in kindergarten through fourth grade will supplement other core academic areas. This is a full time position and will work closely in our existing specials department which includes P.E. and other specials classes. As a specials teacher, they would see students across multiple grade levels and be responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, building relationships with our families, and other duties as assigned. Full teacher responsibilities are ultimately outlined by their School Leader.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's Degree
- Relevant Florida Teaching Certification or Equivalent (K-12 Physical Education/Health)
- At least one year of teaching experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom
