About the role

The Civil Engineer designs and manages various types of projects in our Fairbanks, Anchorage, Palmer, Soldotna, and Junea Juneau, Alaska office for public and private sector clients. This is a hands-on engineering design position in RESPEC’s Transportation Market Sector and will include working on variety of multidiscipline design and construction projects. What you'll bring

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Alaska Professional Engineering License, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• 5 - 15 years of experience
• Autodesk AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency.
• Solid knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and able to take on new tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Able to manage teams and contracts on multiple projects concurrently.
• Detail oriented & well organized with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
• position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.
