About the role

T DXi , a subsidiary of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), an Alaska Native Corporation, is currently recruiting for the position of Electronic Technician/ACMI . This position is located at Eielson AFB, AK, and is a Full Time position. This position will report to the Site Manager. An outstanding opportunity with an established defense contractor that is looking for motivated and results oriented individuals to grow with the company! This position, located at Eielson AFB, Alaska, applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.

What you'll bring

  • Associate degree in technical field or equivalent Vocational/Military training
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficient with test equipment used in maintaining these systems including oscilloscope, RF and AF signal generators, voltmeters, and distortion analyzers
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • US Citizen // Secret Secret Clearance or ability to obtain is required
  • Applicants must have a valid state driver’s license
  • Ability to read, analyze, and apply knowledge of both electrical and mechanical schematics
  • To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Applicants must be able to exercise independent judgment, demonstrate knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and devices, interpret circuit diagrams and understand circuit interrelationships, perform circuit analyses, calculate wave forms, and trace relationships in signal flow, as well as demonstrate knowledge in the use of complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment
  • Must be able to troubleshoot to the component level
  • Must demonstrate ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and repair communications circuits to include analog and digital microwave radios, multiplexing equipment, data circuits and modems
