About the role
GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for a Network Engineer at the Fort Wainwright Mission Training Complex (MTC) under the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program.
What you'll bring
- Certification
- CompTIA Security+ CE
- : BA/BS Degree or equivalent relevant years of experience
- : minimum of five (5) years’ related experience in network architecture design, implementation, and management
- Required Technical Skills
- Possess advanced knowledge in network planning, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Possess knowledge of network hardware and software components
- Strong understanding of technology integration, information flow, configuration and implementation of LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls and security, and storage and backup methodologies
- Must understand and be able to apply Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodology and the Certification & Accreditation process
- Must have experience in applying network patches and STIGs and performing other RMF Cybersecurity tasks
- : SEC+ required
- Meet DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Computing Environment (CE) Certification Requirements at Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT II)
