About the role

Salamander Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Field Engineer to support our field installation, commissioning, and servicing of downhole heater systems and associated surface electrical equipment. This is a hands-on field role suited for professionals with oilfield electrical experience who want broader technical exposure and direct influence on field execution. This position requires on-site presence.

What you'll bring

• 3–7 years of oil & gas electrical field experience
• Experience with control panels, switchgear, PLC and/or SCR systems
• Background in service company, operator, downstream, onshore or offshore environments
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 30–60%, project dependent)
• Medium-voltage splicing and termination exposure preferred
• Technical or engineering degree preferred, strong field experience highly valued
