What you'll bring
- BA/BS in Electrical Engineering + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Experience in progressive electrical engineering in industrial facilities, utilities, or power-generation projects.
- Experience leading engineering teams and multidisciplinary projects.
- Experience with Medium-voltage and high-voltage power systems, Power generation facilities (gas, steam, combined cycle, renewable, cogeneration, Substations and switchyards and Protective relaying and coordination studies
- Understanding of Arc-flash and short-circuit studies, Electrical distribution design, Motor control centers (MCCs), Generator interconnection and synchronization and Plant electrical system industrial upgrades and modernization
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT/FE) certification may be considered acceptable if working toward PE registration within 6 months.
- Working knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code), IEEE standards, NFPA standards, NESC (where applicable), and Utility and power-generation design standards
- Proficiency with power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, SEL and GE protection applications
