About the role
SUMMARY: The X-Ray Technologist will perform general and portable radiography exams, EKG’s and all duties related to the orderly function of the Department of Radiology.
What you'll bring

- o Provide protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
- o Process diagnostic images
- o Review images for proper positioning, technique, and identification.
- o Responsible for completing all exams prior to leaving shift after checking with patient departments
- o Radiology Staff is Responsible for after hours ON-CALL, responds for STAT x-ray procedures
- o Available to cover on-call every other weekend and a minimum of 2 weeknights per week
- o Provide at a minimum of 2-4 shifts/monthly of weekend availability for staff coverage.
- Operate the department in an efficient and effective manner under approved hospital and departmental policies and guidelines
- o Follow hospital infection control policies
- o Maintain adequate records
