About the role
To strengthen our team at the Redmond location, we are looking for a Senior System Test Engineer. As a key member of MicroVision's Systems Engineering team, you will collaborate with various technical teams in the company to design and take into production market defining LiDAR products. The Senior System Test Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and executing system-level verification and validation activities for LiDAR products. The engineer will be responsible for translating system requirements into test strategies, designing and executing test plans, analyzing performance data, and driving issue resolution across hardware, firmware, optics, algorithms, and software teams.
What you'll bring
- Root-cause analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in system test, integration, validation, or product verification.
- Experience validating complex electro-optical, embedded, or automotive systems.
- Systems engineering principles
- Verification and validation methodologies
- Requirements-based testing
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQs, and environmental chambers.
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting languages for automation and data analysis.
- Individual work schedules will be at the discretion of management and dependent on role and business needs.
- You must live and reside within commuting distance from MicroVision’s office in Orlando, FL.
- Master’s degree preferred.
