About the role
The News Operations Manager serves as the vital strategic link between editorial vision and technical execution, driving workflow innovation across traditional broadcast and live-streaming platforms. This leadership role coordinates directly between News and Engineering, supervising teams across field operations, streaming and broadcast studio production, and digital distribution. In this role you will oversee critical newsroom systems and advanced streaming technologies like TriCaster and LiveU. By translating editorial needs into technical requirements and partnering on capital technology procurement, the Manager ensures a seamless pipeline from field gathering to live multi-platform delivery.

- Must be flexible to work off-hours, nights, weekends and holidays depending on the news cycle.
- Background in one or more of the following disciplines: photojournalism, production, editing, IT, streaming systems or engineering.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate between editorial and technical language.

- Must have a “can-do” attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university required.
