About the role
The Senior Assistant General Manager reports to the Manager, Site Lead and partners with cross-functional peers, Front of House (FOH), Tour, Retail, Events and Back of House (BOH) teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences across High West venues. By consistently serving authentic whiskey, food, and cocktails and modeling Nelson’s Green Brier’s (NGB) culture and hospitality standards, this role helps turn guests into lifelong NGB ambassadors. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
What you'll bring
- 6+ years of guest-facing floor management or lead experience in a restaurant or bar environment.
- Proven ability to exceed guest expectations and lead teams effectively.
- Strong communication and team-building skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems in real time.
- Demonstrated ability to balance guest, staff, and business needs.
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to sit and/or stand for extended periods, including working at a computer for long durations.
- 8+ years of guest-facing floor management experience in a restaurant or bar environment.
- Extensive floor service experience, such as serving or bartending, in a similar business.
- Proven success developing employees for growth within an organization.
- Experience implementing operational policies and procedures that meet or exceed business metrics.
