About the role
The Senior Manager and Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) is responsible for managing the daily operations, clinical services, financial and regulatory oversight of a pharmacy focused on dispensing high-cost advanced therapies. Ensures safe, compliant, efficient, and patient-centered pharmacy services in accordance with applicable state and federal laws, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and company policies. Serves as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and is accountable for maintaining pharmacy compliance, licensure readiness, quality oversight, and operational performance. Provides leadership across staffing, workflow execution, patient service, and continuous improvement activities, while partnering cross-functionally to support service continuity and business objectives. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
What you'll bring
- Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Texas is required.
- Must be eligible to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge in the state of employment and be able to obtain additional pharmacist licensure and/or non-resident PIC licensure in other jurisdictions as required by the business within designated timeframes.
- Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of California is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience serving as Pharmacist-in-Charge is strongly preferred.
- Experience in high-volume, highly regulated, and technology-enabled pharmacy operations is strongly preferred.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree preferred.
