About the role

The Litigation Paralegal provides critical support to an in-house attorney, assisting with a wide range of legal matters including general liability litigation, employment law, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, and general legal operations. This role is responsible for managing case files, drafting legal documents, tracking deadlines, and supporting internal investigations. The position requires a high level of organization, discretion, and attention to detail, along with the ability to effectively coordinate across departments and with external legal partners.

What you'll bring

  • Candidates must be a certified paralegal through a recognized credentialing body.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Paralegal Certificate or Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) required
  • Minimum of 4 years of paralegal experience, with at least 3 years focused on insurance and/or general liability litigation, landlord/tenant litigation, and/or employment law
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint, and legal document management systems.
  • Familiarity with court rules and litigation procedures in both state and federal jurisdictions, including e-filing systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
