About the role
The Project Manager holds full ownership of assigned projects, leading the transition from estimate to execution and directing the work through to closeout to ensure it is delivered safely, on schedule, and profitably. This role owns project financial performance—including budgeting, forecasting, cost administration, and revenue recognition—while serving as the primary point of contact for clients and driving subcontractor accountability. The Project Manager sets execution plans aligned to scope, schedule, and risk; leads contract administration and change management; and directs the onsite team to ensure consistent, high-quality production. Ultimately, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall profit and loss of each assigned project, managing it according to Forgen's corporate philosophy of safe, quality production while securing the most favorable economic outcome for Forgen.
What you'll bring
- BS, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent Project related experience.
- More than ten years of progressive heavy civil construction experience, with the most recent five years of progressive Project Management experience including direct supervisory experience in heavy civil construction.
- Skilled in project controls software, including Excel, Microsoft Office/Project, Primavera (P6)
- Strong understanding of construction engineering, codes, standards, and cross-functional relationships.
- able to resolve complex contract issues independently.
- Highly motivated, safety-focused, ethical, and committed to doing quality work.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and sound decision-making abilities.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.
- TWIC card holder preferred.
- In-Situ Stabilization project experience is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- The following safety training is preferred, but not mandatory.
