About the role
Support the Safety Manager in safety-related functions within the shipyards. Perform safety activities on Company property to evaluate, identify, and correct potential safety issues.
What you'll bring
- Shipyard Competent Person Certification is required.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: The ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license is required.
- Advance knowledge of safety (minimum 18 months of safety experience) and knowledge of fire or medical (preferred).
- : High school diploma or GED equivalence plus one year of safety experience in a manufacturing or construction environment desired.
- Knowledge of ship terminology, safety, and OSHA regulations is desired.
