About the role

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Electronics Test Engineer to join our BMS Test team. In this role, you will be responsible for getting our BMS electronics hardware through UL 991 certification. You will ensure that BMS electronics meet functional and compliance requirements through structured test campaigns. What you'll bring

• 4-7 years of experience in PCBA hardware testing.
• UL Experience: Minimum of 3–5+ years of hands-on experience navigating products through UL certification pipelines, with specific, demonstrable knowledge of UL 991, UL 1998, or IEC 61508 / ISO 13849 functional safety standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience using python to write automated test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with test instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, data acquisition systems, environmental chambers).
• Demonstrated ability to manage test plans, execute verification activities, and communicate findings effectively.
