About the role
As the Account Executive, GalileoX Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role as the second dedicated seller on a high-growth team expanding our educational impact nationwide. You will own the higher-velocity end of our pipeline: driving new partnerships with community-based organizations (CBOs), charter networks, and small-to-mid-size school districts, usually in the $25K–$75K range. You will run consultative discovery, diagnose staff capacity and curriculum gaps, and paint a clear, customized picture showing how Galileo plugs into existing district and community systems. In our team, every conversation carries two potential wins: driving revenue and extracting valuable market learnings. Your success in this role will depend on building self-sourced pipelines, navigating multiple stakeholders, timing outreach around public funding windows, and contributing to a repeatable, scalable sales playbook.
What you'll bring
- Inspired by Galileo's mission and purpose
- eager to participate in a professional, welcoming, camp-inspired culture.
- 3–7 years of full-cycle, quota-carrying closing experience in customer-facing, revenue-driving sales roles with a demonstrated track record of hitting numbers.
- Demonstrated expertise selling within K-12 Education, SLED (State, Local, Education), charter networks, or community-based educational organizations (CBOs).
- Strong working knowledge of public school system operations, including district administrative structures, board approvals, RFPs, and public education funding streams (such as ELO-P, ASES, 21st CCLC, and Title I).
- Entrepreneurial self-starter with a relentless growth mindset, with a proven ability to self-source sales pipeline, and the drive to manage high-velocity deal cycles measured in weeks rather than quarters.
- Strong consultative selling instincts with the discipline to run deep discovery, diagnose customer pain points, and disqualify early when fit is lacking.
- An operations self-starter and innovator who is comfortable navigating ambiguous challenges, motivated to co-create sales processes, and dedicated to execution.
- A strong communicator with proven excellence in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, capable of persuading diverse audiences and articulating complex educational solutions simply.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and comfort using pipeline data to manage daily and weekly priorities.
- We strongly encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences, and we are committed to equitable and inclusive hiring practices.
