About the role
Form Energy is hiring a Senior Engineering Technician to support electrical prototype builds and test equipment for our Product Engineering organization. This role is intended for an experienced, hands-on technician with strong electrical knowledge and deep experience fabricating high-quality wire harnesses. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to turn electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, pinouts, and evolving design information into working hardware. Your primary focus will be building, modifying, testing, and troubleshooting wire harnesses, control panels, electrical assemblies, and prototype test systems.
What you'll bring
- Strong experience fabricating complex wire harnesses, including wire preparation, crimping, soldering, splicing, shielding, labeling, routing, and connector assembly.
- Ability to read and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, connector pinouts, cable drawings, BOMs, and evolving engineering documentation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical connectors, terminals, crimp tooling, wire types, wire gauges, insulation materials, sleeving, and strain-relief methods.
