Collins Aerospace is seeking a Director to lead the Mission Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting delivery to Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), the prime contractor to the U.S. Air Force, as part of the broader Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) integrated program baseline. This leader is responsible for the execution, integration, and performance of the Mission Systems IPT scope within the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase, ensuring alignment to the overall program’s technical, schedule, cost, and risk commitments. This is an onsite role in Richardson, TX, Marlborough, MA, Largo, FL, or Cedar Rapids, IA.

- Collins Aerospace is seeking a Director to lead the Mission Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting delivery to Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), the prime contractor to the U.S. Air Force, as part of the broader Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) integrated program baseline.
- This leader is responsible for the execution, integration, and performance of the Mission Systems IPT scope within the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase, ensuring alignment to the overall program’s technical, schedule, cost, and risk commitments.
- This is an onsite role in Richardson, TX, Marlborough, MA, Largo, FL, or Cedar Rapids, IA.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience
- 12+ years of relevant program or project leadership experience within aerospace, defense, or mission systems development
- Strong knowledge of mission systems or avionics development, systems engineering, and integration processes
- Demonstrated experience executing development efforts within DoD acquisition environments or supporting prime contractors
- Proficiency in EVMS, integrated scheduling, requirements-driven development, and engineering lifecycle management
- Active or transferable DoD Top Secret security clearance
- Experience leading Integrated Product Teams within a large integrated program baseline
- Prior work supporting SNC or similar mission system integrators acting as primes to U.S. Air Force programs
- Demonstrated leadership working across multi-disciplinary engineering and program execution teams
