About the role
NISC is seeking a software developer to join our Platform Team and help build and enhance the cloud-based services and security solutions that power our technology ecosystem. In this role, you'll work alongside a talented team of engineers to develop platform capabilities that support application development, improve operational efficiency, and deliver secure, scalable experiences for our users. This position will contribute to initiatives focused on cloud technologies, application security, identity and access management, and portal experiences. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building reliable enterprise applications, and driving continuous improvements that strengthen the foundation of NISC's products and services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on core platform technologies while helping shape the future of NISC's cloud and security solutions.
What you'll bring
- Generally, requires 6+ years’ experience in software development or infrastructure.
- Experience with Java, Springboot, Gradle, Angular.
- Experience with building and running containers (Docker).
- Proficient with Python and Terraform.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of application security and secure software development principles.
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS) is a plus.
- Experience with SSO and IDPs is a plus.
- Proficient with Git.
