About the role
The Senior Project Engineer (SPE) supports the Project Manager and cross‑functional project team in delivering complex construction projects in Life Science, Food & Beverage, & Mission Critical. The SPE ensures technical execution aligns with project objectives, owner requirements, and construction documents, while driving quality, safety, schedule adherence, and documentation accuracy. This role requires deep proficiency in submittal/RFI management, field engineering, vendor coordination, commissioning readiness, and QA/QC. The Senior Project Engineer acts as a technical and process resource on fast‑paced projects and provides mentorship to Project Engineer I/II team members..
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical field
- 6-10 years of project engineering or construction experience
- QA/QC experience is required, including documentation workflows, installation verification, and turnover packages.
- Expert capability with Microsoft Office, VDC tools, mobile field apps, and construction management platforms.
- Expert-level RFI and submittal processing knowledge.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Experience supporting design‑build delivery.
- Familiarity with commissioning, startup, and turnover processes for mission critical systems.
- Ability to work on fast‑paced, highly technical programs with complex stakeholder environments.
- preferably with large, complex, or advanced-technology facilities, including but not limited to, Life Science, Food & Beverage, and/or Mission Critical / Data Center projects
