About the role

The New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain team is responsible for collaborating with suppliers and P&W’s product development teams (IPT’s) to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts that meet our customers’ dynamic needs.  The candidate should be customer focused, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to deliver results. The New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain team is responsible for collaborating with suppliers and P&W’s product development teams (IPT’s). The candidate should be customer focused, have strong communication skills, and demonstrates the ability to deliver results. New Product Introduction has responsibility to all aspects of supply chain management; sourcing strategy, negotiation, order placement, and delivery assurance.  NPI supports efforts using cutting edge technologies and designs in support of military and commercial next generation engine platforms.   This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills & the ability to leverage working relationships across the many P&W functional groups; Quality, Materials, Engineering, MCL, ESA, Regional Offices, Programs and multiple suppliers. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain, manufacturing, industrial management, or related field
  • or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • Understands how to interpret blueprints, specifications, and associated flow down
  • Strong analytical and writing skills to support order justification and audit
