Arriva UK Bus is looking for skilled and experienced Engineers to join our growing engineering teams across the business. Whether your background is in PSV engineering, HGV maintenance, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, rail, heavy plant, or commercial vehicle repair, this is an exciting opportunity to build a long-term engineering career with one of the UK’s leading transport operators. As an Engineer at Arriva, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our fleet and infrastructure, helping ensure our vehicles remain safe, reliable, and fully operational for the millions of passengers who rely on our services every day.
What you'll bring
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in PSV or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous experience as a PSV Engineer, HGV Technician, Bus Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Mechanical Engineer, or Heavy Vehicle Engineer
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience within a workshop or fleet environment
- Experience using engineering tools, workshop equipment, and vehicle diagnostic systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures within engineering and transport environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays where required
- Full UK driving licence preferred
