Team Lead will provide daily work direction of production line through effective communication and completion of manufacturing operations tasks while applying AMS tools. Identify process and resource constraints and utilize appropriate decision making and problem-solving techniques to resolve and meet SQDC metrics. Provide feedback, coaching, and training to production employees. The team lead will oversee daily work direction for a production department of 5-40 production associates. What you'll bring
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience in manufacturing operations.
- Requires knowledge and application of continuous improvement processes such as 5s and problem-solving methods.
- Knowledge of operations products, processes, and equipment including safety, quality, changeover and set-up skills and knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques and basic machine diagnostic skills.
- Understand the interdependencies (manufacturing/functional groups) across the value stream.
- Requires intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train, and motivate employees.
- Demonstrated skill in identifying constraints or barriers, problem solving, delegation and sound decision making.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills and effectively working with others.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and life-long learner with demonstrated initiative.
- Lean training or certification preferred.
