Join Our Team as a P&PD Engineering Specialist at Johnson Electric! As our next P&PD Engineering Specialist , you’ll be at the forefront of developing and launching new products while supporting the continuous improvement of existing product lines.
What you'll bring
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in product development, process engineering, or a similar engineering role
- Experience in manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, and quality planning tools
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills and technical aptitude
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Powder Metallurgy Technologist (PMT) Certification Level 1 or willingness to obtain certification
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects
- Experience supporting product launches and prototype development
