CIMA+ is seeking an  Electrical Engineer  to join our Buildings team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems for a wide variety of building projects across GTA. You will work closely with engineers, technologists, and other disciplines to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while supporting the continued growth of CIMA+’s local presence in the region. This role offers a balance of technical design, project coordination, and field engagement, including site visits and construction support for projects throughout GTA. You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in our Bowmanville or Mississauga offices. Compensation for this role is therefore based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, while maintaining internal equity. The level and associated salary may vary depending on the candidate’s profile.

What you'll bring

• P.Eng. designation in Ontario
• 10 years' experience in electrical engineering in the buildings sector, specifically in the design of power distribution
• on-site standby & emergency power generation
• lighting (indoor and outdoor / site) and building services & life safety systems
• Demonstrate a commitment to client service that is second to none
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microstation
• Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
