CIMA+ is looking for a Senior Aviation Planner to join our team – someone that’s driven, curious, and confident in their problem-solving and communication skills. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys tackling complex challenges, is open to travel, and is excited about growing their career while contributing to business development efforts. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes planners, engineers, architects, environmental and Indigenous specialists, and support staff. You’ll play a key part in developing airport master plans, feasibility and economic studies, forecasting and air service development initiatives, and aviation training services. You’ll also support broader planning tasks as needed, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of aviation projects. What you'll bring

• A university degree in engineering, architecture, airport planning, air transport management, or a related field.
• Candidates with education in economics, sustainability, finance, or business disciplines will also be considered
• Exposure to PowerBI or other data visualization and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with simulation and modeling software related to airfield and terminal planning is considered beneficial.
• A proactive attitude paired with a genuine eagerness to learn and continue developing professionally.
• A collaborative, positive outlook and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and disciplines.
• Strong analytical thinking with a structured, thoughtful approach to tackling complex challenges.
• The confidence to take ownership of tasks and manage responsibilities independently and efficiently.
