About the role

OTI Lumionics is seeking for an Analytical Lab Technician to join its Chemistry team. The Analytical Lab Technician will carry out QAQC activities using various analytical techniques, in accordance with SOPs, and heath & safety standards.

What you'll bring

• Post-Secondary Degree in Analytical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Excellent hands-on laboratory skills
• Strong organizational, time management, analytical and follow up skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment
• High attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly, demonstrate flexibility, take initiative, and maintain a positive, can do attitude
• Experience working in an industrial analytical laboratory setting
• Extended hours may be required from time to time
• Ability to work all shifts, including morning and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
