About the role

This position requires access to technology, software and other information that is subject to governmental access control restrictions, due to export controls, security classification and/or designation as Controlled Unclassified Information. Employment in this position is conditioned on the candidate’s ability to obtain and maintain appropriate government authorization to access technology or information, to the extent required, including without limitation a security clearance, export license, or other documentation required to establish authorization to receive access to such items technology or information.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10 years of experience in electrical design and panel layout for machine building applications (OEMs)
• Hands-on experience designing safety systems, including E-STOP circuits
• Solid understanding of control and instrumentation engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent electrical design software
• Comfortable in a dynamic startup environment where priorities shift and you own the outcome
• Strong commitment to personal and process safety
• Ability to work onsite in New Britain, PA at least three days per week

• Chemical industry and/or hazardous environment experience
• Understanding of state and federal code selection and regulations
• Plant troubleshooting or maintenance experience
