About the role

Acting as a key liaison between Finance, Cloud Engineering, Operations, and Product teams, this role is responsible for ensuring cloud spending is visible, accountable, predictable, and optimized. The successful candidate will establish reporting, governance, forecasting, chargeback/showback models, and continuous cost optimization practices to maximize the value of cloud investments.

  • Fluent in English (speak, read, write)
  • Able to obtain (in a timely manner) and maintain Government of Canada Reliability (Level I) security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years of experience in cloud operations, cloud engineering, infrastructure administration, DevOps, cloud cost management, IT financial management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments and working with cloud cost management, reporting, or optimization activities.
  • Working knowledge of Azure services, cloud consumption models, and cost governance practices.
  • Experience using reporting and analysis tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
