About the role

The Facility Maintenance Helper is responsible for performing general maintenance, repair, and improvement work across industrial and office facilities to support safe, clean, and efficient operations. This role handles a wide range of building, equipment, and workplace upkeep tasks, responds to service requests, and helps ensure the site remains in good working condition.

What you'll bring

• Minimum Education and Experience Required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Working knowledge of carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, light electrical repair, and general mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read basic instructions, safety procedures, and work orders and complete tasks with limited supervision
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods during the workday
• Must be comfortable working on ladders, stairs, and elevated platforms as needed
• Work is performed in a combination of office, warehouse, production support, and outdoor environments
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and safety shoes
• 2+ years of experience in general building maintenance, facilities support, handyman work, or a related trade preferred
• Experience working in commercial, warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
• Basic computer or mobile device skills for receiving and updating work orders preferred
