About the role

Timmons Group is seeking a talented Civil Designer to join our dynamic Water/Wastewater Group in our  Virginia Beach, VA office. The qualified individual will perform civil site design tasks for a variety of water/wastewater infrastructure projects. What you'll bring

• At least three years of design/engineering experience in municipal infrastructure is required.
• Intermediate to advanced ability to use AutoCAD Civil 3D software is required.
• Must possess strong technical verbal and technical writing skills and be able to read technical literature and engineering plans.
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to apply professional knowledge to the solution of both routine and non-routine tasks and engineering activities.
• Must demonstrate two-way communication to effectively work with internal staff.
• Candidates must share a commitment to our company’s Vision, Mission and Shared Values.
• Ability to use other engineering automation tools (Revit, BIM 360) is preferred.
