About the role
We’re expanding the legal team at Flow and looking for a pragmatic and commercial legal counsel to serve as a key partner to our business teams on corporate matters, commercial contracts, real estate transactions, and more. As part of a growing legal team, you also may be called on to help in other areas as well, such as operational legal issues in our communities.
What you'll bring
- 2–4 years’ experience in general corporate transactional and commercial work at a top firm, or comparable in house experience at a real estate operating company, PropTech startup, or similar high-growth company
- Detail-oriented with a passion for organization
- Self-starter who can manage agreements through their entire life cycle
- Flexible and able to set and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Highly ethical and able to question and defend with an open mind
- Must be admitted to practice law and remain in good standing with the state bar in the jurisdiction where the position is based (Florida or New York).
- Experience with commercial real estate, landlord-tenant law, or residential property operations preferred
- Exposure to multi-entity corporate structures and subsidiary governance a plus
