About the role

DISHER is currently looking for a M echanical Design Engineer with design experience, preferably in SolidWorks , NX, or Inventor . As a part of the team , you will get to partner with a variety of customers on design projects, including new product design and launch, automation equipment design, and industrial equipment design. You will work directly on customer projects and collaborate cross-functionally with various teams. It’s why we exist. What you'll bring

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5 - 10 years of relevant engineering and design experience.
• Experience in CAD software
• Experience with complicated conceptual designs vs. simple complete designs.
• Familiarity with systems and subsystems.
• Openness to trying new things, failing fast, and an excitement for designing new things.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfortable operating in ambiguity and shaping undefined requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to document work thoroughly and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Ability to interpret and anticipate customer needs and think of the bigger picture.
• Independent worker with the understanding of when to ask for help.
• Ability to travel to local customer sites is essential
