About the role
David Weekley Homes is looking for dynamic, people-focused leaders who combine a strong sales mindset with a passion for operational excellence to manage your new-home communities as a thriving business. Project Managers lead a cross-functional team of Sales Consultants, Builders, and Warranty Service Managers to deliver exceptional customer experiences and exceed financial performance goals. We believe in setting people up to be successful, so there is an initial training and mentoring period to become well acquainted with our operations.
What you'll bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading and developing people within the construction industry
- Experience leading a high-performing sales team or at least 3 years of leadership experience with full P&L responsibility for a multi-million-dollar business, department, or project
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes and sales operations,
- Experience managing budgets, business operations, and contracts/legal documentation
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance while balancing operational excellence and customer satisfaction
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable for results
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, sound judgment, and accountability
- Resourceful, innovative, and proactive with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Collaborative leader with a passion for developing people, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and continuously learning
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Ability and willingness to relocate in the future is strongly preferred, as Project Managers are often considered for leadership opportunities across our markets.
